Europe: GEA installs brewimagnesium citrate douglas laboratoriesng system in the UK

UK’s Fourpure Brewing Co. will install the GEA Craft-Star skid mounted brewing system from GEA as part of £2 million (US$2.58 million) growth project to increase its production by 400 % to 14 million pints (8 million liters) a year.###The GEA brewing technology will reduce the time it takes for Fourpure to brew each batch of beer, allowing it to improve quality control and increase production. ###With the contract signed in the beginning of May 2017 and the equipment being fully installed end of summer, this is GEA’s first reference site for Craft-Star in the UK.###In 2016, the Fourpure brewery invested £1.4 million on a canning and packaging line to can 10 oz citrate of magnesiaits entire core range of beers. ###This new project with GEA will allow Fourpure to make the best possible use of its current site whilemagnesium citrate online expanding production.###It will also allow the brewery to experiment with new recipes using the GEA equipment, laying the foundations for the calcium citrate tablets ciplanext expansion in early 2019. ###The Craft-Star to be installed at Fourpure brewery is an off-the-shelf, four-vessel system designed for batch sizes of 40 hectocitracal costcoliters of hot wort and can produce up to seven batches a day. ###The system will be supplied to Fourpure Brewing Co. pre-piped and pre-wired, ready-to-install. ###It will have been fully tested in liquid calcium citrate magnesiumthe GEA factory in Kitzingen, Germany, prior to dispatch. ###Automatic control is through a combination of manual and motorized valves that control more than 80 % of the brewing process – mashing, lautering, wort boiling and whirlpooling – operated through an easy-to-read touch panel monitor.
