Kellogg is trialling new paper packaging for its Pringles brand, as part of a new partnership with UK retailer Tesco.
The current tube used by the Pringles brand is made from a combination of foil, paper board, metal and plastic, meaning it can be difficult to recycle through household recycling channels. However, the new paper tube is madezinc supplement for zinc deficiency from recycled paper and can be easily recycled through home channels.

The paper cans will be trialled with two kinds of lids, one paper and one plastic, both of which will be recyclablzinc gluconate solubilitye.
According to Kellogg, the new paper Pringles can trial will take place in a small number of Tesco stores across East Anglia, UK from 9 September.

If the trial is successful, Kellogg has suggested that it could introduce the new paper packaging across Europe.

According to the company, the development of the can took almost a year to create, and the release of the new can is part of Kellogg’s commitment to ensure that 100% of its packaging will be reusable, recyclable or compostable by end of 2025.
Miranda Prins, Pringles vice-president, said: “We are eager to play our part and reduce our impact on the planet. And, Pringles fans expect that of us too.
